While our school is very well resourced, to continue to provide a quality education it is necessary to generate additional income to maintain and extend the programmes and resources. We raise income, for example, through the hireage of school facilities, Parent Teacher Association (PTA) generated fundraising and applications to various funding agencies, eg, ASB Trust. We also ask that parents make the following donation:


Suggested donation level - $125.00 per child per annum

Primary schools very much depend on this voluntary donation that equates to approximately 60 cents per child a day to provide each student with access to additional high quality resources such as:


  • Computers, laptops, digital cameras, digital projectors
  • Additional support programmes
  • Learning in the Cloud – online learning environment
  • Reading resources
  • Maths equipment e.g. calculators, maths games
  • Art supplies
  • Phys-Ed/Sports equipment
  • Musical instruments
  • School Productions
  • Library books


The school donation qualifies as a donation for tax purposes and consequently you can recoup 33% $41.25 of the donation through the Inland Revenue IR 526 claim form (available from the internet). This tax relief brings the net cost of the donation down to $83.75, which equates to approximately 44 cents per school day.

Methods of payment:

  • Cheque payable to Pakuranga Heights School by post (P O Box 51 147 Pakuranga 2140)  or in person
  • Direct Debit in instalments to the school bank account (details below)
  • One-off deposit (of the full amount or part payment) into the school bank account (details below)
  • Payment by cheque/cash/credit card at the school office (either of the full amount or partial amount) – Bankcard & Visa accepted
