A warm welcome to our new families, to Mrs. Vanessa Pedersen who has started in Room 9 as the new entrant teacher and to Mrs Lisa Stafford who is relieving this term in Room 12.

During the holidays the following projects were completed:

  1. Arborists removed the tree by the library. A reluctant decision but there were issues with dangerous branches and the root system causing major drain blockages.
  2. The carpets cleaned across the school.
  3. Our school internet system is in the process of upgrading.
  4. New sheds installed behind Room 12 and Room 13. We will need extra storage because once work begins on the hall we won’t be able to access sports gear etc. until renovations are completed.
  5. New murals are now on the back walkway
  6. Carpark lines redone.
  7. The staffroom repainted.

Rugby and Contact Sports
We remind students that if they are playing tackle rugby they need to wear a mouth guard and any contact game needs to be supervised.

Safety Reminder – Keeping Your Child Safe
Please model the correct behaviour and encourage your child to use the crossing.

We have zero tolerance to any forms of bullying. Please encourage your child to let their teacher know or call Mrs Margaret Walker or one of the senior team. The school needs to be safe place both physically and emotionally in order for your child to maximise their learning opportunities.

As summer, draws to a close sunhats are not compulsory in Term 2 or Term 3. We look forward to a term that is not disrupted by Covid-19 lockdowns.
